Yesterday at the hospital I got the pleasure of meeting some beautiful children of God. What God said to me, once of again, was His ways are not our ways. He does not think like us, He does not speak like us, and He does not operate like us. As I spoke with the beautiful believers, a thought came to my mind that God is not concern with how we look, what shade of color we are, or whether our hair is flowing down our backs or braided in beautiful art. What He cares about is our soul! His agenda is that every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord (Romans 14:11). He will join whomever He needs to join spiritually to accomplish His divine mission.
Society can get so caught up in the differences and uniqueness The Creator made us. We will never figure God out, we should really just stop trying and appreciate His creativity. In the Bible we are referred to has being His children. When we accepted Jesus as our Lord and savior, He adopted us into His family. I don’t know about you; but I love to be in a family where color, style, class, language, and genetics just don’t matter. The only physical things that matter are the blood, the DNA, and the cleansing of our sins.
Whether you are tall, short, dark, brown, green, white, skinny, or thick in some places, beautifully, we were made in their image (Genesis 1:26). That tells me that God himself is unique, different, and most of all, simply beautiful!
